These Great Danes are in the style of the favourite hunting dogs of the 26th Lord Kingsale, John de Courcy b.1717. John is described as being addicted to hunting and the pleasures of the chase and lived at Old Head Castle at Kingsale, County Cork.

This fine centrepiece has been taken directly from the Victorian original which was of cast iron construction with later modifications sympathetic to the original design.This comes with installation instructions, water pumps, liners and pipe work. The young River God with bulrush entwined hair is seated with curled tail, next to a turtle, blowing on a horn, against the backdrop and horseshoe surround, which is complimented by a rusted restraining band along the lower lip of the upper front edge. Includes Pump system and pipework.

Standing on a large square plinth with moulding at the base. It is surmounted by a pair of entwined putti supporting a cornucopia, standing on a naturalistic rocky base.
